Job Description

Do you have Senior Production Engineer experience, and are you seeking a new job in Nottingham Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a respected company recruit a Senior Production Engineer, and the role comes with a salary of up to £55,000 p/a (Dependenton Experience) and excellent benefits.As a Senior Electronics Production Engineer, you will be optimising the practical manufacture of electronics and cable assemblies to internationally recognised standards. You will also be driving continuous improvement of all aspects of product manufacture,bringing your experience in electronics assembly best practice, cellular manufacturing and flow lines and standardisation.In this Senior Electronics Production Engineer role, you can expect to:

  • Define and audit standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Decide on and ensure compliance with relevant manufacturing standards to demonstrate competence to our demanding customers and to ensure continuous improvement
  • Work with the design team to lead the implementation of new products into production
  • Develop manufacturing solutions to meet growing volumes in a high mix environment
  • Provide high-quality training to the manufacturing team where necessary
To apply for this role you will need a good understanding of electronics manufacturingand first-class demonstrable practical skills. Youll also require:
  • Experience in electronics manufacture and several years of working in a similar, senior role in this industry
  • A background in both electronic and mechanical manufacture (beneficial)
