On Line People are proud to support our market leading, nationwide client in their searches for a Registered Manager within a specialist residential service for adults with a Learning Disability who may have dual diagnoses and associated complex needs. The home has five ensuite bedrooms, plus a newly available self-contained one bedroom flat and provides twenty four hour support.The service provides two large communal lounges, large dining room and modern kitchen. There is a dedicated activity room where service users can access the computer with Wi-Fi throughout allowing service users to stay in touch with family and friends, access e-learning and use the internet. There is access to a large garden which is home to many birds and other wildlife. There are ground floor rooms are available and there is a shared bathroom as well as ensuite shower rooms. The facility also offers a self - contained flat to enable service users to progress through their care pathway and further develop their independent living skills. The flat may also be available to individuals requiring single-person accommodation, but who may still require higher levels of support.The home is situated in a residential area of Nottingham, close to a wealth of community facilities including local leisure centres, restaurants, parks and shops including the famous Gedling Cheesecake shop! The service is just a short distance away from Nottingham city centre, Nottingham Castle, Woolaton Hall and the Capital FM Arena.There are many opportunities for service users to develop new skills; Clarendon College is nearby where service users can complete access courses and work placements are available at various local charity shops. Service users are also encouraged to take part in planning the service budget and carry out daily household chores.We are really keen to get an excellent Manager on board, who is looking for a new challenge, to drive this service forward.The client are an excellent company to work for.
