Job Description

Fully remote position working for an independent accountancy practice in the UK, servicing sole traders and limited companies across the country.Client DetailsAn indepedent practice, owned and run by a husband and wife partnership, that services sole traders and limited companies across varying industries, but with a focus on the property sector.Description

  • Accounts prep and finalisation of accounts and corporation tax returns from client bookkeeping, to draft, to final, obtaining client approval to submit Companies House & HMRC using Tax Calc accounts production software
  • Clear communication with clients to explain and agree accounting journals being entered onto the clients accounting software, treatment of tax sensitive items and the impact on profits
  • Understanding the client and their business to be able to spot and share tax efficient tips specific to each clients circumstances
  • Creation of self-assessment tax returns and finalisation - from client bookkeeping, to draft, to final with client approval to submit to HMRC using Tax Calc self-assessment software
  • Discussions with clients to explain and agree amendments to clients bookkeeping, treatment of tax sensitive items and the impact on profits
Profile
  • An ACA / ACCA qualified accountant to join with a proven track record in a UK practice environment.
  • Xero / Quickboos experience
