All our clients vary from being very independent, to some that need much more care and support."I worked as a teacher for many years, but as I reached retirement age, I still wanted to work in the community. I discovered this organisation four years ago - not soon enough! I love my job, its part-time, so I have plenty of time to spend with my Grandchildren.I have a small number of clients, who have become good friends. I cannot believe I get to do this as "a job"! My client visits vary, some are housebound, and I offer them support within their home, do a food shop for them, and keep the home tidy. One of myladies likes me to run her a bath, help her get in and out and wash her hair. One client just enjoys my company, and we have tea and cake and a good natter. I have a client, who I support with his journey living with dementia, we spend lots of time reminiscingand singing. I help keep him safe at home and prepare his meals."
