Our client is a market leader in the production of industrial waste shredders. They take pride in ensuring their shredders are best in class and that their service offering keep their machines in peak condition at all times.With a worldwide network of partners and service providers they pride themselves in being close to their customers with an in-depth understanding of their needs and individual preferences.As part of their continued growth within the UK they are seeking to appoint an Area Sales Manager whose primary function is to develop new business opportunities within the recycling industry.Please note, to be considered you must be able to demonstrate a track record in developing new business within a high ticket value, long lead time environment. This role will suit an experienced hunter who has the tenacity to identify potential customers building relationships and enhancing the brand of our client.Experience within the recycling industry is desirable but not essential, however it is likely that the successful candidate will have experience within the sale of large capital equipment sales (£300,000- 1,000,000) with long lead in times withina related capital equipment field such as steel, foundry, building, or engineering.This is a home-based remote role in which the role holder is expected to have at least 75% travel activity within the UK and Ireland in addition to 4-6 annual visits to the global HQ in Denmark, for customer visits and meeting activity.Personal specification:
