Job Description

Chapman Tate are working alongside a leading software solutions provider committed to delivering cutting-edge IT services. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a talented and motivated Network Support Engineer to join their dynamic team. If you arepassionate about networking, troubleshooting, and providing excellent customer support, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the health of network infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Implement preventive measures to ensure network security and stability.
  • Provide technical support to clients experiencing network-related problems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical users effectively.
  • Configure and optimize network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement network upgrades and improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and recommend enhancements to the network infrastructure.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Create and update network diagrams for reference and planning purposes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Network Support Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and security practices.
  • Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking hardware.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CiscoCCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
