The types of businesses we work with include independent food and drink brands, health and beauty brands and marketing technology platforms.Overview:We seek an enthusiastic and ambitious marketing assistant to join a fast-growing marketing consultancy business. Suppose you are looking to start a professional career in marketing and are proactive, tenacious and adaptable. In that case, this is an excitingopportunity for you to develop expertise and experience and work with some great brands.Duties:

  • Support the marketing consultant
  • Support key Stakeholders
  • Support across various projects
  • Brand support
  • Work with customers and contact data
  • Email marketing
  • SEO
  • Search engine marketing
Full training will be provided across various marketing technology platforms. Still, we’re eager for you to contribute your ideas to improve our marketing and processes - creativity and intuition will be rewarded!The successful candidate will demonstrate:
  • A keen interest in digital marketing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise and multi-task
  • Initiative when faced with challenges and flexibility in approach
  • Can work well independently and as part of a team
Essential skills/knowledge:
  • Interest in consumer brands
  • A basic understanding of customer/contact data
  • An interest in and understanding of email marketing
  • An awareness and understanding of search engine marketing and optimisation
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
It would be great if you also have experience in (but not essential!):
  • Experience using MailChimp and/or other email marketing platforms
  • Experience with Hubspot and/or other CRM platforms
  • Experience using Google Analytics
  • Experience in using social media channels for brands/businesses
  • Some experience or understanding of data marketing services
Entry requirements:
  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance, you could still be considered for the programme.If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application, you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.For more information, please visit the UK ENIC website.Salary starts at: £16,000, with the opportunity to increase up to £20,000 per annum.
