Magento Front End Web Developer - Near NottinghamSalary - £30,000 - £60,000 p.a plus excellent benefits packageFull-time, Permanent, OnsiteThe Company Our client based in Costock is one of the UK’s leading brand agencies, boasting an enviable portfolio of clients, regionally, nationally and internationally. An exciting opportunity has risen for a Magento Frontend Developer on full time bases at their Costock office to join the team of 100 highly skilled staff.Role and responsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be a heavy hitter, who would be turning their skillset to any frontend challenge.

  • Develop and maintain Magento 2 websites
  • Apply your expertise in Magento, PHP, MySQL & JavaScript to extend, enhance and build great user experiences
  • Understand e-commerce business requirements and convert to a coherent design
  • Develop and implement innovative features and functionality for e-commerce
  • Collaborate with a team of passionate e-commerce professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes
  • Unit test and take accountability for the quality of your work
  • Analyse and solve problems
  • Quickly learn an industry leading e-commerce platform
    • Skills & Experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience of Magento 2 development in an e-commerce environment
  • Experience of extending Magento functionality through the use of UI components
  • Knockout.JS and experience of working on a PHP platform
  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (native) and JavaScript Libraries including jQuery
  • HTML, CSS
  • AJAX / jQuery / Javascript
  • LESS / SASS
  • Mastery of hand-coded XHTML and CSS adhering to W3C coding standards
  • Familiarity with HTML5
