Job Description

KS3 Learning and Behaviour Mentor | Nottingham | ASAP startDo you have experience working with children and young people in any scenarioAre you an outgoing person who can deal with challenging behaviour with easeDo you relish the challenge of working with young people and teenagersIf you have answered "Yes" to one or all these questions, then this could be the perfect role for you.Pay: £70 - £95Location: NottinghamAbout the role

  • Working with the inclusion team and the learning support department
  • Providing extra academic support to pupils in small groups
  • Creating individualized learning plans for pupils
  • Supporting the social and emotional needs of pupils
  • Acting as positive role model for pupils encouraging them to make the right choices
  • Tracking and monitoring the progress of pupils

The ideal candidate
  • At least 1 years experience in a secondary school
  • An up-to-date enhanced DBS

  • Confident and outgoing personality who can think on their feet
  • Knowledge of supporting students with SEN
