Job Description

Health & Safety Executive - Distribution - Nottingham - Up to £35,500 About the CompanyOur client is a major player in the UK and International Distribution Market with an exceptional reputation within the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the leadership and ensuring the working environments (both warehouses and offices) at different sites are fully compliant and a safe place to work.Health & Safety Executive - The Rewards

Health & Safety Executive - Requirements
  • NEBOSH Certificate
  • RTITB Accredited MHE Instructor
  • IOSH / Level 3 in Health and Safety
  • 3 year minimum in Health and Safety, Training or operations.
  • Great communication skills - Written and verbal across all levels, internal and external
  • Able to carry out audits, compliance checks and put together reports.
  • Knowledge of current safety theory and the ability to learn and apply company policy while keeping abreast of changes.
Health & Safety Executive - Responsibilities
  • Conduct Health and Safety and Material handling equipment training needs, ensure records are updated and all staff are compliant.
  • Oversee control of all contractors and their adherence to health and safety policies including issuing of permits, reviewing RAMS etc
  • Oversee Waste management and ensure adherence to health and safety policies
  • Oversee adherence to environmental and energy policies.
  • Audits relating to site, security, operations, training, contractors.
  • Expedite and escalate issues and works needed.
  • Review accidents and incidents liaising with insurance company where necessary.
  • Ensuring business continuity plan is up to date with ongoing threat analysis.
  • Address non-conformance at all levels and maintain evidence of corrective action.
