The Genomics and Molecular Medicine department is a newly formed department incorporating Molecular Diagnostics, Molecular Genetics and Cytogenetics and works closely with the Haematological Malignancies department and Clinical Genetics services at NUH and also the East Midlands and East England Genomic laboratory hub.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and conscientious individual to join the Genomics and Molecular Medicine Service in the Service Manager role.You will be an integral part of the senior management team of the service. This role can be undertaken alongside another role e.g. scientific role.This role offers the opportunity to shape and develop the department to help deliver a service at the cutting edge of diagnostic capability and national change. The position involves day to day management of the department as well as significant strategic development.Applications are invited from healthcare scientists and knowledge/experience of Pathology.
