This company are very protective of the supportive,ethical and values driven environment which they have cultivated and flows throughout.This is evident also in the benefits on offer, where hybrid working, enhanced sick pay and a substantial bonus (that consistently pays out and increases year on year up to 25%) are only a few of the top extras provided here.Routes for progression are readily accessible and with time, you will see the real impact your role can have on the wider community while working within this SME.The Role:- Production of management accounts packs, including commentary and comparing budgets to actuals.- Preparation of statutory accounts.- Completion of budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting.- Assist with the implementation of new processes and controls to drive efficiency.- Manage and lead 2 direct reports.- Full management of project finances and handling of new onboarding projects in coordination with the Finance Director.The ideal candidate will be:- Fully qualified in ACCA/CIMA/ACA.- Either a 1st/2nd mover from practice or someone who possesses a well-rounded technical industry exposure to management and financial accounts.- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities.- Experienced with Excel and accountancy systems.Main highlights:- Up to £55,000 base salary- 15% bonus in first full year which will then rise year on year.- Hybrid working pattern (3 days office / 2 working from home)- Matched pension up to 4.5%- HealthcareThis role is similar in nature to: Financial Controller, Financial Reporting Accountant, Accountant, Management Accountant, Group Accountant, Group Reporting Accountant, Group Reporting Manager, Finance Business Partner.This role is commutable from: Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Loughborough, Mansfield, North Leicestershire.Cherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
