Job Description

We are recruitiing a Control Panel Test Engineer to join our client in Nottingham.You will be working as part of a team building control panels for the water industry, you will be responsible for testing and verifying the controls panels for quality and electrical checks.Our client custom builds and install a wide range of high-quality control panels, motor control centres (MCC’s) and automation systems.The role will involve the following.

  • Testing and fault finding of panel assemblies
  • Conducting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT),
  • Working from electrical schematics to ensure the safety and functionality of control panels and system.
What’s needed for me to be considered for the Control Panel Test Engineer role
  • Electrical qualification
  • Ability to schematics and technical drawings
  • Experience of loom wiring panel build soldering and machine wiring
  • Maintenance, fault finding and repair of MCCs / control panels.
  • Previous experience in a Control Panel testing role
