CNC Operator / Machinist Location: Nottingham Salary: £10.50-£12.00 depending on experience, plus a £1 an hour attendance bonus after 1 month Working hours : Monday to Thursday 08:00am– 16:00pm and Friday 08:00am -14:30pm with an hour lunch break Aboutthe Company: AMK Hardware is a leading distributor of door and window hardware to the UPVC and timber industry with operations in both the UK and Ireland. An experienced CNC operator is required to work with our existing team at our new unit in Basford Nottingham. The CNC Operator / Machinist role: The basic duties will be setting up and operating a CNC router, maintainingquality and safety standards. Maintaining equipment and supplies and keeping records. Reporting directly to the CNC Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring production and quality targets are met. The ideal CNC Operator / Machinist must show previousperformance and skills in the following areas; A CNC machine operating background would be necessary to support the ongoing manufacturing development and growth of the business.
