CNC Mill Turn, CNC Milling, CNC Turning, CNC Lathe, CNC Machining, 5 axis, Manufacturing, Engineering, CNC, Miller, Turner, Mill Turn, Motorsport, Automotive, Nuclear, Aerospaece, Medical, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Pharmeacutical, Location: Nottinghamshire, Position: Permanent, Hourly rate: £13 - £14.50 per hour depending on experienceCNC Mill Turn Machinist - Permanent, NottinghamshireEMBS Engineering is working in partnership with a leading, innovative precision engineering company in Nottinghamshire that is showing no signs of slowing down and continues to break records.Due to further growth and expansion, the business is seeking additional support within their advanced machine shop and therefore is in need of a skilled CNC Mill Turn machinist to join the company on a permanent basis, with a view to initially start on a Day shift, moving to permanent nights after a successful probationary period.Our client produces complex, detailed, safety-critical components for a number of high-profile industries working with market leaders in their chosen fields. This is an opportunity for any individuals who are looking to be challenged, work with modern, state-of-the-art machinery and produce exciting, interesting components for a lucrative, global customer base.Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous Mill Turn experience
  • Strong precision engineering background - produced parts for industries such as; Aerospace, Medical, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Motorsport, or similar advanced manufacturing sectors
  • Ability to set, operate and edit Mill Turn machines using Fanuc controls
  • Worked with various exotic materials - inconel, duplex, super duplex, waspalloy, titanium etc. as well as aluminium and steels
  • Adherence to tight tolerances and high standards - microns
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Ability to self inspect your own parts using manual measuring equipment
  • Previous experience running Doosan, DMU, DMG, Mori Seiki Mill Turns is desirable but not essential
    • In return the client is offering:
  • Stability & Longevity - Permanent position
  • Hourly rate: £13 - £14.50 per hour + shift allowance (33%), depending on the level of experience within Vertical Boring
  • Night shift - X4 10 hour shifts, Monday to Thursday
  • Day shift initially - Monday to Friday (39 hours) during probationary period
  • Overtime available at premium rates
