We collaborateclosely to bring that positive impact home.Due to growth, we are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to support the Services Finance Director with daily tasks within Finance for services.LOCATION: Nottingham – UK - HybridJOB SPECIFICATION: Assistant Management AccountantThis role will support the Services FD to ensure stringent financial governance is applied across the end – to – end Service Sales process – from bid stage to customer sale.Your role will involve but not be limited to: -

Preparing and posting month end journals for example accruals, prepayments, reallocations etc
the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, bid support, financial modelling and services forecasting.
Improving the accuracy and timely reporting of Services Financial information which will be used as a basic for strategic business decisions
Assisting in the preparation of internal and external reports and deal with ad hoc analysis

REQUIREMENTS: Assistant Management AccountantWe are looking for someone that is potentially at Assistant Accountant level with the core skills needed within month end and reporting.You’ll need the following skills and experience:-

Experience with working at assistant accountant level.
Understanding revenue recognition and preparation of prepayment/accrual journals3
Part Qualified or studying towards an accounting qualification.
Great attention to detail, strong organisational skills and able to prioritise work effectively.
