Job Description

Area Sales Manager - Brick & Cladding Facades Job Title: Sales Executive - Brick & Cladding Facades Industry Sector: Brick Cladding, Rainscreen, Brick, Facades, Renders, Terracotta, Mesh, Ceramic, Metal, Stone and Decorative BoardingArea to be covered: East MidlandsBased: Commutable to Nottingham officeRemuneration: £30,000-£36,000 + 15% BonusBenefits: 1 Series BMW or Electric & full benefitsThe role of the Area Sales Manager Brick & Cladding Facades will involve:

  • Field sales position selling an independent distributed range of faade solutions
  • Initially you will be focussed on selling brick facades, but ultimately you will also promote; terracotta, ceramic, mesh, metal rainscreen cladding systems and decorative boarding
  • 70% account management role, selling into the national housebuilders
  • 30% new business development with regional housebuilders, main contractors and architects
  • Initially responsible for 6 large supply chain housebuilders and another 6 smaller accounts
  • Tasked with generation £200,000 of income, equivalent to approx. £1.5m-£2m of turnover
  • Initially working from Nottingham office, but ultimately this will be a hybrid role, 50% on the road and 50% office based
  • Working on project sizes up to 500 houses, which can equate to £3m of brick orders over 2-3 years
  • An opportunity to be promoted into a senior sales role within 2 years
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Brick & Cladding Facades with:
  • Housebuilder route to market/ customer experience preferred
  • Open to sales people from a brick/ cladding industry background without housebuilder experience
  • Account management/ relationship builder
  • Open to internal and field sales experience
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Pro-active nature
  • Team player, able to utilise Nottingham office back office and support
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Experience of selling via specification to architects may also be of interest
  • Bubbly personality/ zest for sales
  • On the up in career
