Job Description

2nd Line Helpdesk Engineer - East Nottingham - GBP £33,000 (Hybrid)I am thrilled to share an amazing opportunity with you! I am currently seeking an ambitious 2nd Line Helpdesk Engineer to join a market-leading MSP in Greater Nottingham permanently. As the IT Support Engineer, you will be exposed to various technologiesand day-to-day tasks, dealing with both BAU and project support.This role offers exceptional opportunities for personal and professional growth. You will be fully supported by a comprehensive Training package and a clear progression path into the Senior Technical team. Furthermore, they will cover all expenses for certificationsand training courses!Benefits:

Day to day:
  • Resolve technical and application issues via phone, email, or in person.
  • Guide clients through troubleshooting steps effectively
  • Monitor and maintain systems and networks for optimal performance
  • Support updates and roll-outs of client applications, including user training
  • Foster positive working relationships with clients
  • Install and configure systems
  • Diagnose hardware and software faults and provide timely resolutions
  • Adhere to SLAs (Service Level Agreements) to ensure timely resolution of client issues
  • Effectively prioritise and manage multiple open tickets
  • Rota-based extended hours support (on call).
Technical skills required:
  • Windows Server experience & maintenance
  • Active Directory administration
  • Azure AD
  • Office 365 management and administration
  • ITIL processes
  • Software &
  • Networking - firewall, Routers and switches
  • Powershell - desirable
Ideally, youll have an MSP background.
