Territory Account ManagerHeavy Plant Machinery£36,000 basic + £5,000 car allowance + £12,000 bonusMy client is a leading global brand in capital equipment sales and rental, as well as supplying associated parts and related technologies. They sell, rent and provide parts and service for equipment and engines to their customers in various industries, including Aggregates, Demolition, Waste and Quarrying.Whilst they have an incredibly strong brand across all of their key markets, this territory is a little underdeveloped by comparison. This means two things; 1) you will need to be comfortable making contact and closing business with new customers and 2) there is a huge opportunity to come into this role and make a name for yourself.The role carries a specified revenue target but there is lots of autonomy in terms of how you get there. There are currently around 150 active accounts on the territory so plenty of warm customers as well as significant new business opportunities.Candidates will need to bring a good working knowledge of the territory along with experience of selling in to at least some of the key markets (Construction, Waste, Mining & Quarrying and Agriculture). You will have proven business to business sales experience and have previously worked in a home and field-based sales role. They are happy to teach you all you will need to know about the products, and they have significant technical expertise across the business to help you to succeed.Salespeople from the following companies would be of particular interest; Komatsu, Hitachi, Bobcat, JCB, Ben Burgess along with any other heavy equipment manufacturers.Apply online for further information.
