Job Description

R13 recruitment are supporting utilities provider in their search for a Procurement and Fleet Co-ordinator to join them on a temporary basis. You will provide integral support on purchasing and administrative tasks, including scheduling services, handing incoming correspondence, and coordinating fleet.This is a full time, temporary assignment available on a 5 month basis, working 8.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.   • Supporting purchasing and administrative tasks, with a focus on procurement duties.
  • Organising and scheduling vehicle maintenance, servicing, and MOTs to minimise downtime and coordinate with individuals using the vans.
  • Handling incoming fleet phone calls, addressing queries related to breakdowns or car issues, and directing them to the appropriate person if necessary.
  • Coordinating vehicle transfers, deliveries, collections, and cancellations by liaising internally and externally.
  • Handling new driver applications and fleet admin tasks such as fuel card monitoring, driving infringements, and reporting.
  • Providing administrative support for vehicle accidents and incidents, including documentation and communication with insurers and operational managers.
You will have/be
  • Procurement or buyer experience, ideally in social housing/merchants or internal.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well organised with excellent time management skills.
