Job Description

Daytime Healthcare are partnering with one of best and largest private award-winning hospital groups in the UK. The Hospital Group is renounced to offer the best workplace for learning, development and offers an excellent modern working environment.You will be working with the wider hospital multidisciplinary team to support them with medicines management and provide pharmacy services to patients in both inpatient ward and the outpatient department.Job Role and Responsibilities:

  • The provision of an exemplary pharmacy service, in accordance with current legislation, clinical requirements and accepted professional and ethical standards
  • The provision of advice and support to consultants, other clinicians and patients whilst ensuring the safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medicines.
  • To advise on the safe management of medicines to the hospital and it’s departments, whilst staying compliant with current legislation and professional standards
  • Promoting a patient focused multidisciplinary approach to the delivery of an efficient, high quality healthcare service.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Be GPHC registered - your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions.
  • Communication/organised/role model/showcase excellent patient care etc.
  • Suitable for Community or Hospital based Pharmacist - No hospital experience Necessary.
  • Desirable to have a minimum of 1 year, post-graduation experience in a community or hospital environment.
Schedule:
  • Full time hours, however part time 30 hours would also be considered.
  • Monday to Friday - 08:30am to 18:30pm. Occasional Saturdays on a shared rota basis / occasional bank holiday working.
