Job Description

Our client, located in Norwich, are currently seeking a Club Administrator to offer assistance to its Committee. As the Club Administrator, you will assist with the organisation of events and generally keeping the Club running smoothly.This is a part time, permanent position. For transparency on hours: this can vary but is typically 35 hours per month (less in the summer but increases leading up to the Awards Season).Job requirements:

  • Keep the database of corporate members and attendees at events up to date.
  • Distribution of invoices. These are currently sent individually but there may be a function to do this via the website.
  • Update the Income and Expenditure schedule via Excel and ensure it reconciles with the bank balance.
  • Pay invoices and committee expenses.
  • Alongside the Treasurer, assist with financial decision making, preparing annual accounts and budgets.
  • Liaise with event venues regarding bookings, arranging catering and attend events to meet and greet the attendees.
  • You may be required to assist the committee members who are organising the event.
  • Keep the website up to date to reflect changes in membership, committee etc.
  • Prepare agendas (in discussion with Chairman) and circulate to the committee in a timely fashion.
  • Attend meetings, write up notes to circulate to the committee as soon as possible after each meeting and act on any action points.
  • Check that committee members are acting on their action points.
  • Responding to queries from members and potential members.
