Job Description

Heating EngineerNorwichPermanent£13.70 – £16.00ph DOEGreen Home Energy Solutions are seeking an experienced Heating Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. In this role you will be part of a team responsible for new installations and maintenance of renewable heating technologies.Main Duties:

  • Installation, maintenance, servicing, fault-finding and break downs
  • General plumbing issues e.g., Fixing leaks, replacing valves etc.
  • Technologies covered: Biomass Boilers, Solar Thermal and Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Covering domestic and commercial projects in Norfolk and Suffolk
  • Maintaining a good standard of workmanship & customer service
  • Communicating with the office team and supplying relevant paperwork from site
  • Other duties as required
    • Requirements:
  • 2+Years Plumbing & Heating Experience (Gas, Oil or Renewables) – Essential
  • Level 3 plumbing & heating or relevant qualification - Essential
  • Interest in renewables and willingness to learn – Essential
  • Good customer skills – Essential
  • Ability to organise and manage time – Essential
  • Renewables experience – preferable but not essential (training provided)
  • G3/Unvented qualification - Advantageous

  • Permanent position
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 – 16:30
  • No call out rota just occasional flexibility on core hours depending on customer needs & workloads
  • Hourly rate and weekly pay
