Our client, a highly successful business based on the outskirts of Norwich are seeking an experienced qualified accountant to join their growing team as a Financial Accountant. This is an exciting time to join the business in a role that will offer progressionand the ability to help develop the future of the finance function of this business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make their first move out of practice.Reporting to the Central Finance Manager and supervision a team the key elements of this role will include:- Delivery of timely statutory reporting- Preparation and completion of all group tax returns- Quarterly VAT returns- Tax planning- Completion and review of balance sheet reconciliations- Co-ordination and management of year end audit- Statutory returns- Prepare management accounts- Manage and develop a small teamFor this role you will need:- The appetite for a challenging but rewarding commercial role ideally from practice- To be qualified and registered with a recognised member (ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)- The ability to lead and inspire others- An attitude of challenging the norm and delivering improvements across the division- The ability to influence at a senior level
