Job Description

R13 are proud to be working alongside a leading training and education provider in their search for a Financial Services Trainer & Assessor. In this role you will be providing learning, training and development to individuals and businesses within the financial services sector.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in the financial services industry coupled with the passion and skills to impart their knowledge to the next generations of financial services professionals.Your duties will include:

  • Delivering an engaging programme that develop participants knowledge and skills in line with industry standards.
  • Teaching across a range of financial services qualifications (CII / LIBF) and levels.
  • Planning and delivering training sessions to learners in a group setting, both online and at employer sites.
  • Carrying out regular monitoring and assessment of learns progress.
  • Researching and developing new learning materials, topics and courses.
  • Providing additional support to learners where necessary.
  • Overseeing examinations and assessments, ensuring industry standards are met.
  • You will have/be:
  • Previous experience within the financial services industry.
  • A CII certification including CertCII, CertPFS or DipPFS.
  • Previous experience delivering training sessions
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
  • Team spirited & understanding of working towards a common goal
  • Good organisational skills and a willingness to work flexibly
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to build good rapport with students and support their learning.
  • **Please Note, you will be required to undertake and pass a CRB check**The salary offered is up to £32,000 dependant on experience.
