Job Description

Norse Consulting are the management consultancy branch of the Norse Group, with an enhanced focus to create exceptional value for clients in key areas of challenge such as, asset rationalisation, low carbon, delivery management, new homes and supply chainmanagement.We have an exciting opportunity for an Energy and Property Data Analyst on a permanent, full-time basis working 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday.As an Energy and Property Data Analyst you will be responsible for producing a range of high quality, accurate energy, carbon and property-related data reports for our clients.Your Responsibilities

  • Compile data reports required by regulatory bodies and clients for mandatory schemes such as ESOS and the Simplified Energy and Carbon Reporting regime (SECR).
  • Assist and support with advising on energy efficiency and energy saving opportunities which may involve travel to other Norse Group sites.
  • Maintain relevant energy databases to ensure they are maintained and developed to meet client expectations which will include energy, carbon and water data input and liaising with suppliers over data quality issues
  • Analyse and develop business processes to drive operational excellence and cost efficiency
Our Successful CandidateYou will have demonstratable experience as a data analyst within a similar field alongside;
  • Batchelors Degree or equivalent in an engineering or analytical related discipline or working towards and/or can demonstrate significant relevant experience
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular databases and spreadsheets
Ideally you will also have an understanding of (although this is not essential);
  • Carbon conversion factors, the calculation of carbon footprints and weather correction
  • Knowledge of mandatory energy and carbon reporting requirements
  • General understanding of energy reduction technologies and techniques currently available
