We are looking for an IT Support / Desktop Support specialist to join a Fintech business in Norwich. The role requires experience working in a Windows environment, supporting Active Directory, Windows 10, Office 365, Azure and more, whilst working in an ITIL framework, using ITSM toolsets.The business is a secure and well funded Fintech organization that are going through significant expansion, following a takeover earlier this year.Theyre currently about 50 people but likely to grow by another 20 over the next 12-24 months. As a result its a great time to join as alongside the day to day support, you would get to gain exposure to the latest MS technologies (such as Dynamics CRM and Power Apps) as well as play a role in how the business grows and evolves.Day to day the role is focused on Desktop Support. This could range from configuring and fixing end user devices (laptops/phones), to purchasing new IT equipment.You would support group policy using Active Directory and manage operational support issues such as backups etc through the Azure Portal.You will have the chance to learn more about Azure and get exposure to the server side configuration, which they can offer in a small company but you probably wouldnt get as much in a large business.Due to the nature of growth, key attributes for the role are the ability to provide effective desktop support efficiently and learn their environment quickly.Some nice to haves include CompTIA certifications and Azure experience as well as exposure to Dynamics CRM and Power Apps.
