We are working with a leading renewable energy generator who has a UK wide portfolio of renewable generation assets. The Role Working closely with the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for providing systems, compliance and analytical supportwithin the commercial fuel teams across the whole portfolio of biomass power stations. Day to day, you will monitor and manage safety and environmental compliance within the fuel team activities. You will organise and facilitate the generation of relevantreports and documents, ensuring that data is accurate, clear, concise, and presented in a standardised format within business timeframes. Key responsibilities Comply with and promote HSEQ requirements across all fuel supply activities. Assist in the establishmentand maintenance of the fuel related H&S management, commercial performance and compliance systems to enable the effective, efficient and reliable reporting on fuel management, performance and compliance. A strong emphasis on governance and risk managementcoupled with encouraging and embedding a culture of safe working. Responsible for reviewing and maintaining a suite of processes and procedures across the operational sites and activities. Involved in the creation, maintenance, audit and regular review ofprocess documents including visiting the various work areas, monitoring operational compliance and enforcing corrective actions in a prioritized, recorded and timely manner. Analysis of business performance data to compile clear and concise reports for thecommercial team to identify and deliver on efficiency initiatives and business optimization around fuel supply (quantity, quality, and value). You will need a full driving license. This position requires someone with strong verbal and written communicationskills, together with strong knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI. It would be advantageous to have experience in a business systems or analytical position. Ideally you will have experience of working in either governance, compliance,or risk management. You need excellent attention to details, numerical and analytical skills to produce accurate work to tight timescales. You will be expected to visit power stations, storage sites and supplier sites to oversee audits. The role will be mobileand will have a requirement to travel.
