Job Description

Job Role: Sub AgentLocation: NorthumberlandDuration: Long Term Project (12 Month Contract)Pay: INSIDE IR35Contract OpportunityMy client is a Tier 1 contractor based in Northumberland, who is currently looking for a Sub Agent on a 12 month contract INSIDE IR35 contract position with possible extension.Responsibilities for the Sub Agent:

  • Ensure all permits ready for site work to commence
  • Ensure the Inspection and Test Plans, and Quality Check Sheets are completed as soon as the checks can be completed
  • Write and Approve method statements and risk assessments and ensure they are being followed throughout the works
  • Checking design drawings and reporting any issues or inconsistencies
  • Liaise with other Sections to ensure a smooth flow of work.
  • Management of Section Engineers, Site Engineers, Section Managers and Foreman
  • Experience delivering either rail, civil or highways engineering schemes within a Civils environment
  • Drive construction phase of the project
  • Manage Quality & Environmental plans on site
Requirements for the Sub Agent:
  • Experience in Station Works (Signalling and M&E)
  • Degree educated in an engineering discipline OR equivalent experience
  • CSCS card
  • Able to produce and explain accurate plans and drawings
