Job Description

Specialist - Support Worker - East Northumberland£10.00 - £10.50 an hourHelping Hands Community Care is recruiting Specialist Care Support Workers in East Northumberland covering Cramlington, Ashington, Blyth, Bedlington and surrounding areas.We provide the care and support our service users need to achieve a fulfilling life and maintain as much of their personal independence as possible, in the comfort of their own homes.The specialised care team supports service users with varying health conditions including learning disabilities, autism, mental health, post traumatic injury, challenging behaviour, Huntingtons disease and many others.Our Specialist Care Support Workers prepare meals; dispense medication; attend to personal care; dressing; showering: companionship and enabling, day centre support; holidays, hobbies; interests and respite.Employee Benefits:

COVID-19 vaccine available for key workers and weekly testing in line with Government guidance.Previous experience of caring for vulnerable people is an advantage, but we do provide a full induction training course for all new staff.We are looking for people who are caring and sensitive with a desire to help others; passionate about providing quality of care and support to our service users, strong organisation and communication skills who are reliable and trustworthy.
