Job Description

Northumberland County Council are looking for social workers for their Adult Safeguarding Team within the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)

  • To carry out triage of new safeguarding referrals within a 24 hour timescale
  • To assess and analyze risk and strengths along with implementing safety planning Liaise with clients via telephone and on occasion, conduct a home visit
  • Liaise with partner agencies to ensure the safeguarding of an adult at risk
  • Access support via the safeguarding managers/Team Manager where appropriate Complete brief assessments of work completed
  • Conduct unannounced visits to organizations where safeguarding concerns have been raised
  • Identify immediate risk of harm and raise this with your line manager Meet tight timescales within
  • Triage and MASH Support with organizational safeguarding
  • Record data on NCC systems
