Site SupervisorFibre buildsFibre Site SupervisorFibre buildsNorth-East3monthsGood rates- OUTSIDE IR35Immediate startLeading Fibre installer who specialise in the design, installation, and connection of fibre optic services to domestic and commercial properties throughout the UK require Site Supervisors with a customer centric approach to Fibre To The Property (FTTP) tobe responsible for looking after fibre builds and supervising teams of people undertaking civils work and teams building the fibre network. You will report to the Build Manager on the day-to-day project delivery within a geographical area (York to Northumberland)and the role will include street works and supplier performance management in order to ensure the scope of the work and materials required are delivered on time, within budget and are of excellent quality.As a Site Supervisor you will possess a base H&S qualification, be confident in managing installations and co-ordinating on-site resource, have a solid understanding of FTTP, Openreach network and Civils delivery, have a thorough working knowledge of afibre network build through significant job experience and training and ideally be NRSWA and PIA accredited. You will be responsible for delivering the highest level of H&S standards on site, supervise and line manage the civils, cabling, splicing gangs andsupply chain, deliver sites on time and with high levels of quality, help troubleshoot and solve problems when they arise, report/update systems daily for progress tracking, manage quality inspections including snagging and manage sub-contractors ensuringcompany procedures and safe working practices are always adhered to. A full clean driving licence is required.You will be able to communicate effectively with team, colleagues, managers, and customers, show a willingness to pitch in to finish all tasks assigned and tasks that may be assigned to colleagues, manage performance and productivity.This is an initial 3 month contract (OUTSIDE IR35) that may also offer a contract to perm opportunity and will start asap.
