Job Description

MTrec’s new career opportunityWe are recruiting for our client who are specialists in their market sector, they are looking for a Project Engineer on a permanent basis.The Job you’ll do

  • The implementation of Products and Processes (manufacturing & test), supporting the building of a projects organisational framework in close co-operation with interface functions and the establishment of best practices with excellent ethics at all levelsand within all function of the business.
  • Develop and maintain a project system to established standards relating to activities leading to the introduction of new products.
  • Review of client requirements and liaising with the clients projects functions in resolving any requirement/specification anomalies and variations.
  • Evaluating and prioritising work within the overall project schedule.
  • Control, monitoring of cost, delivery performance and quality of the project.
  • Develop and maintain project specific documents and procedures for work to be carried out.
  • Monitor and inform/communicate/apply standards created/maintained by external bodies, and integrate within internal management systems.
  • Plan and manage departmental activities in accordance with agreed budgets and timescales.
  • Overseeing the various stages of development for a variety of products from concept to assembly through to despatch to the client.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary (where impacting the project schedule) to ensure contractual requirements are met, and all contractual variations are maintained in detail.
  • Create and issue weekly/monthly progress reports to the customer as requested/necessary.
  • Responsible for issue of project documentation to the customer and expediting a timely return.
  • Complete post contract review summary.
About you
  • HND/Degree in an Engineering/Science discipline
  • Knowledge and experience in: Project & a Manufacturing Environment.
  • Working knowledge of analytical & measurement tools.
  • Proven track record in the project, implementation & maintenance of fluid transfer systems/products or similar.
  • Ability to work across sites & locations at all levels & in different environments.
  • Problem solving and decisiveness.
