Job Description

The CompanyMTrec Commercial are proudly representing our industry leading client in their search for a temporary Procurement Coordinator. They are located in Northumberland and widely considered to be an employer of choice within the manufacturing sector, providing onsite parking, a great team culture and a friendly supportive environment. This role is temporary ongoing, however opportunity to become a permanent opportunity.The Role

  • Prepare and place purchase orders ensuring best cost, quality and delivery obtained.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure stock levels are managed and supply lead times are adhered to, in line with Production Schedule and that any issues are communicated promptly.
  • Support with Tenders, ensuring requirements are captured, supplier submissions are collated
  • Work with existing and new suppliers to ensure current pricing is updated on systems
  • Purchase Order and invoices reconciliation.
  • Undertake analysis and prepare reports relating to purchasing activity.
  • Manage Procurement related projects, working with internal and external stakeholders to drive resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with all departments to ensure Product Specifications are in line with technical requirements.
  • Organise transport and prepare associated shipping documentation.
  • Management of Suppliers in accordance with companies Procurement and other HSQE Policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
