Piling Rig Operator - Supervisor - Nearshore worksNorthumberland 3 - 6 month contract - possibly longer. Salary circa £40,000 dependant upon experience. Must be living near to Northumberland coast as the daily work schedule is dependant upon the Shore TidesCDS Recruitment and Training Ltd have a fantastic client in Northumberland who looking for an experienced piling rig operator( NEARSHORE ) capable of supervising a technically challenging project using a 4.5t rotary piling rig with either CFA or rock hammer working from a spud legged raft with a 3.5t spider crane. This is a hands-on job that will require working with the tides and weather.All kit is brand new and holders of an MMO licence to install six number piles and are looking to expand this total to 34. Accuracy is more important than speed to complete the job.Key Responsibilities: -Successfully deliver project to completion -Main point of contact between Project Manager and site operative team. -Supervising and leading a small team of operatives to safely deliver piling project. -Ensuring the works are delivered with high standards of health, safety, environment and quality, in accordance with the company. -Maintain records / documentation to a high standard. Key Tasks: -Supervise the Rotary Piling Rig: installation and extraction of piles-Supervise the spider crane -Safe removal of arisings for disposal onshore -Grout piles into final position -Communicate with commercial divers when required-Ensure safety standards are maintained within the crew. -Ensure quality standards are maintained within the crew. Desirable: -A proven record of relevant successful experience in piling projects -A wide experience of piling rigs / techniques -Relevant qualifications-Ability to work efficiently in a technically challenging environment. -Confident and proficient in developing and implementing short- and medium-term plans. -Able to organise and prioritise their own work as well as the work of others. -Achieve high standards in Safety and Quality.Salary entirely dependent on experience.Contact Chris Sultman at CDS Recruitment and Training on
