Total Vehicle Solutions Group are experiencing a huge period of growth and have a fantastic order book for 2022 already.With four sites based across the UK, and over 50 years of combined trading history within the commercial vehicle market, they are synonymous with the design, manufacture and delivery of a wide range of solutions to the construction, logistics and commercialfleet market.Following a period of investment, and the restructure of the businesses within its group, they are looking to hire an experienced Design Engineering Manager for their Wilcox Commercial Vehicle manufacturing facilities in Cambridgeshire.Based at their site in Market Deeping (just outside Peterborough), your role will be to lead a technically diverse and talented team of designers in delivering the groups product range of aluminium Bulkers and Tippers supplied into the UK and European markets.Working in line with industry legislation and directives, you will produce designs from customer specification in applications such as mechanical engineering, hydraulics, HV electrification, and software/hardware applications.Ideally you will have 3-5 years experience in a similar role with an automotive or engineering based sector, and be educated to a degree level in an associated field.
