Job Description

Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Finance Business Partner to work within North Northamptonshire council.This position is a temporary Role for 3 months with the possibility to be extended and pays £411.54 (PAYE) or £535 (Umbrella) Per DayThe Role: .This role will be responsible for supporting the reporting and monitoring of the capital programme and funding activities, providing technical support in relation to the treatment of capital activities. This role will also be involved in the year end closedown and budget setting processing in relation to the activity within the capital programme .Key Responsibilities:

      As a member of the Strategic Finance Business Partners management team, contribute to the overall strategic and operational management of the provision of Financial Services to the Service, this will include the closure of the accounts and the production ofthe Statement of Accounts.
Manage, motivate and develop staff within the team, providing support to ensure that priorities are identified, objectives achieved and to enhance the overall level of performance and morale.Ensure effective and ongoing implementation of the Councils Performance Appraisal and Development Program within the finance team.Ensure that services perform their duties and functions in fulfilment of their financial statutory obligations, keeping abreast of the Councils changing legal obligations, mandates and responsible for ensuring relevant compliance with the Councils FinancialProcedure Rules and Financial Code.To manage the provision of financial support on obtaining and securing financial resources including the assessment of business options, including interpreting/analysing complex financial and non-financial information.Applicant Requirements: Qualifications: CCAB Qualified and management qualificationExperience:3 years experienceCompliance:3 years references.
