HGV Technician Northamptonshire, Kettering, Corby, Northampton Monday-Friday (40 hours) Full time, Permanent £35,000-£50,000 (Depending on experience) + Travel + Bonus We are currently looking to recruit both experienced and newly qualified HGV Mechanics/Technicians/Fitters that are hungry to join a rapidly growing organisation based in Northamptonshire as part of a team that supports the entire HGV fleet on site. This exciting role will require maintenance and reparation of LGV & HGV Class 1 and 2 vehicles across a large spectrum of models and types. Key Responsibilities: - Maintaining H&S standard and supporting/resolving any H&S issues - Carry out inspections, repair and maintenance to a DVSA requirement - Diagnose faults and rectify the issues - Training to enhance your skillset if needed - Major unit overhaul and defect repairs - HGV licence may be favourable Requirements: - Relevant mechanical qualification (NVQ/City and Guilds) in Mechanics/engineering/automotive - Previous experience as a HGV technician (preferable) - Mechanical experience 1 year (needed) - C+E driving License (preferable) - IRTEC license (preferable) - Hungry attitude to progress - Well organised - Understanding of breakdowns and vehicle reparation, particularly in heavy goods.
