Job Description

Account & Project ManagerNorthamptonUp to £35 per annumAgenda Partnership have partnered with a Northamptonshire based client who are seeking an Account & Project Manager to work within their very busy conference projects team.This role would be ideal for somebody who enjoys interacting with clients both face to face and other telephone, somebody who is incredible detailed and has great time management skills and this role will manage the client relationship and plan and overseathe project delivery from sales through to implementation.This role will include travel both UK wide and overseas (to destinations including Europe, Middle East and Asia on occasions) overseeing approx. 50 onsite installs per year with regular client meetings onsite and offsite direct with the customer and supportingthe client with all project requirements.Some key highlights of the role include:

  • Maintain a forecast of revenue & operational demand
  • Produce quotes and co-ordinate supporting sales documents and floor plans, visuals etc.
  • Secure and administer contracts in a timely manner
  • Conduct venue site visits, surveys, and event planning
  • Work with Marketing to coordinate retention campaigns
  • Attend relevant events where the business is exhibiting
  • Support the Business Development Manager in identifying further opportunities
  • Take ultimate responsibility for the project and its end delivery on-site
  • Maintain strong communications with all event stakeholders
  • Supervise and oversee project installations and handovers
  • Prepare accurate and manageable schedules, labour plans and documents associated with the event
  • Monitor stock levels during busy periods, proactively identifying issues and solutions
  • Liaise closely with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure full awareness of project requirements and status
  • Coordinate on-site labour - supervising planning, assigning and directing work
  • Work with the immediate and leadership team to expand the proposition and range of services
Essential skills required:
  • Prior working history in the events industry
  • Sales / account management experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • IT literate Excel, MS Office
  • Sound commercial awareness and excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to stay calm and work accurately in pressured situations
  • Flexibility and ability to travel (Full unrestricted Passport & Driving Licence)
  • Flexibility to attend events, meetings etc. which may involve working outside core working hours
