Job Description

The OpportunityWe are delighted to be working with a renowned Not for Profit organisation basedacross North Yorkshire and East Riding.The Association has undergone a hugely exciting period of growth with a strong focus on values and culture, and is looking to bring ona Recruiter to own the entire Recruitment function.Reporting to the HR Manager, the Recruiter will play a crucial role as a passionate brand ambassador.Responsibilities will include

  • Handling volume recruitment (approximately 10-15 new hires per month)
  • Creating diverse job advertisements to attract top tier candidates
  • Proactive management of full candidate experience from initial screening of potential candidates to onboarding
  • Proactively sourcing suitable candidates via candidate databases, job advertisements, CV searches and other creative methods
  • Delivering a positive candidate experience, irrespective of the result
  • Updating and managing internal systems and accurately recording candidate data
  • Building and sustaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including hiring managers and recruitment agencies
The PersonThe ideal candidate must embody the principles of the association, demonstrating a positive outlook and the capacity to work in a collaborative and inventive manner, and fundamentally be a passionate brand ambassador.Additional requirements include -
  • Minimum of 2 years recruitment experience.
  • Experience of different recruitment systems
  • A strong initiative to develop existing processes to draw in and retain a varied workforce that aligns with the association’s future needs, and that executes key actions, particularly in relation to attraction, onboarding, and retention, making the associationan inclusive employer of choice.
  • Ensuring the best recruitment and onboarding experience for our candidates is provided at all times.
Our ClientOur client is very much a values-driven family organisation, and therefore whilst a background in Charity / Not for Profit / Healthcare might be advantageous, it is not paramount.However, a genuine passion for social responsibility is vital.
  • The ideal candidate will embody the principles of the organisation, demonstrating a positive outlook and the capacity to work in a collaborative and inventive manner
  • This will be a hands-on role hybrid role with a requirement to be where you are required, be that central office, careers fairs, colleges or home-based working
  • There is flexibility to the working style, however the ideal candidate will need to be located a commutable distance to Northallerton.
