Job Description

Head of Operations - Regulated Financial ServicesTo be based Yorkshire or North East, hybrid working available.Salary of £60,000 to £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.Attractive benefits package including Income Protection, PMI, Life cover, Medicash plan, enhanced maternity/paternity, discretionary bonus, Employee Assistance programme.The roleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Operations to join a growing financial services company, to be based from Yorkshire or the North East.This is a great time to join a rapidly growing company currently experiencing a significant amount of change and transformation due to ongoing acquisitions.This role will be pivotal to the success of merger projects ensuring successful operational transformation and process improvement and that new and existing team members are engaged and looked after during this period of change.Core accountabilities will be as follows:

  • Develop, improve and implement operational strategies and process improvement plans to increase productivity ensuring quality and service levels are maintained.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Operations Team to ensure acquisitions and clients are onboarded smoothly ensuring continuity of service and protecting income.
  • Manage the day to day operations both onsite and remotely during a period of change and thereafter.
  • Monitor and provide regular reporting and MI on team performance and team members productivity, SLAs and workloads.
  • Evaluate individual and team performance management, putting into place plans and training to remedy areas for development.
  • Hold regular team meetings to communicate team performance and any other relevant updates including upcoming changes and how they can be managed.
  • Responsible for coaching and training of new and existing members of the team.
  • Arrange and participate in meetings, team events and projects where required.
  • To lead by example and maintain harmony within the team throughout a period of growth and change.
