Job Description

Job Title: Level 3 Early Years PractitionerLocation: Northallerton, UKAre you a dedicated and qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner seeking an exciting opportunity to further your career in early childhood education Join our team at our Curiosity Approach Nursery in Northallerton, where we inspire curiosity and ignitea love for learning in young children. We are currently seeking an experienced practitioner to join our dynamic team and contribute to our innovative approach to early years education.Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the Curiosity Approach philosophy to create a stimulating and inviting learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and critical thinking.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities and experiences that promote holistic development across all areas, including physical, social, emotional, and cognitive domains.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting open communication and collaboration.
  • Support childrens natural curiosity and inquiry through hands-on exploration, sensory play, and real-life experiences.
  • Assess childrens progress and development, documenting observations and milestones to inform planning and individualized support.
  • Stay up-to-date with current best practices and research in early childhood education, actively participating in training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working as an Early Years Practitioner in a nursery or early years setting.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Curiosity Approach philosophy and its implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A proactive and reflective approach to practice, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
