Job Description

Drug & Alcohol Recovery Worker Vacancy waiting to be filledVenn Group have been approached by a support organisation and would like to introduce the following position availablePosition: Drug & Alcohol Recovery Worker Location: NorthallertonNorth Yorkshire Rate: £16.00 - £18.00 PAYE inc holiday payLength: 3 months on going Hours:37 hours per week, MonFri The role will predominantly involve:

  • Providing clinical and psychosocial interventions to clients accessing the services including Community Detoxification and within a Shared Care setting
  • Managing a case load of clients, delivering effective interventions in line with NDTMS and NICE guidance, with a recovery focused approach
  • Providing specialist support to GP practices across the county who are registered Shared Care sites
  • Supporting the development of the Shared Care model across North Yorkshire
  • Managing a caseload of drug and alcohol clients and reviewing on going care and treatment liaising closely with the full range of specialist workers within the multi-agency team
  • Supporting service users to access resources and services to increase their recovery capital to help them achieve their recovery goals and promote family, carer and service user involvement
The successful candidate must have an Enhanced DBS within 12 months
