Job Description

Customer Support AdministratorNorthallerton37 hours per week, Monday - FridayUp to £10.42 per hourOur client is Northern Powergrid, based in Shiremoor. Their vision is to be the best energy company in serving their customers while delivering sustainable energy solutions. They have an exciting opportunity to join theirBusiness Support team in Northallerton. This position will be to provideadministrative support to the Field Operations regional teams that have colleagues based both inthe offices and out on site.Responsibilities:

  • Processing of purchase orders for a number of departments
  • Payment of Service providers using CRM & CFS
  • Assisting with the planned power cut process, raising jobs in an in-house system & producing letters in accordance with OFGEM standards.
  • Participation in Call Centre overflow - speaking to our customers (assisting our call centre at peak periods & for large power cuts).
  • Supporting thefaults process in accordance with OFGEM standards - using CRM & CFS
  • Supporting the 3rd party Damage process, collating costs to invoice to the 3rd party
  • Supporting the Streetworks process, dealing with Permits, Local Authorities & Service Providers
  • Assisting with stationery ordering and postal duties.
  • Liaising with site staff via the telephone
Key Competencies:
  • Proven background in Administration
  • Strong IT skills
  • Good planning and organisation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident Team Player
  • Desire to learn and develop
  • Experience in a Customer service or Streetworks role would also be of benefit, but not a requirement
