Job Description

Secondary SEN Teaching AssistantTimePlan Education are recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to support a small group of childrem with SEND. Your role will be to support several children in KS3 and KS4 and you will be working across different classes and year groups across the school. Youwill be working on a full-time basis with the opportunity of getting a permanent contract with the school after three terms.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop in their role very quickly and they will receive continues training.Job Responsibilities

  • Comfortable supporting pupils with various Learning Difficulties.
  • Ability to engage and support pupils with additional needs.
  • Assist with personal care if needed.
  • Supervising pupils behaviour.

Job Requirements
  • Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND is desirable but is not essential.
  • Calm and empathetic.
  • Good behaviour management.
  • Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
  • Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 2-6 months.
