Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Administrator to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Hatfield. You will become a trusted advisor where customers feel that they can approach with any enquiry, whilst giving the customer confidence that their issue will be resolved efficiently with the best outcome.Key responsibilities and duties of this role...

  • Handle incoming customer and prospect phone calls, emails, and face to face interaction with customers
  • Process all quotations and orders via email/post/phone/in person
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers to ensure they receive a solution that best suits their needs
  • Invoice customer orders and raise credits from the previous day’s dispatches
  • Ensure customer data is up to date and accurate
  • Be proactive in understanding why a customer’s issue has occurred, implement improvements to ensure the same issues dont arise again
  • The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and qualifications...
  • Previous office-based customer service experience in a technical product environment
  • Previous experience with business software (e.g. experience with Sage or other order processing/stock control software)
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, customer-focused personality
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and non verbal
  • Has an organised, systematic approach to prioritise and keep on top of daily tasks with a keen eye for detail
  • Loves to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pmBenefits
  • Salary - £24,000 per annum
