Job Description

18850- Inventory Coordinator – Hull - £23,000 - £26,000Chase and Holland are working with a fantastic FMCG business based in East Yorkshire who are looking to recruit an Inventory Controller to join their team. This is a very exciting opportunity for aprocurement professional with relevant FMCG experience to join a very successful business who have ambitious plans for growth.The position will entail planning and managing the supply of materials to ensure production output can be metKey Accountabilities

  • To run Raw material & Packaging stock shortage reports and chair biweekly meeting, with minutes escalated to the business.
  • Manage and plan the intake of new materials to ensure production schedules are met
  • Monitor stock holding levels to ensure inventory targets are upheld
  • Establish and distribute short, dated stock to wider business and facilitate all corrective actions highlighting areas of risk and counter measures.
  • Control and manage raw material and WIP life within MRP system, ensuring a full route analysis is undertaken prior to allocating any disposal notes to the correct area.
  • Highlight and raise any internal concessions with the relevant QA team
  • Trending analysis of repeat offenders for management review
  • Ensure all system management (cross functionally) is accurate delivering the correct behaviours
  • Manage all inter-site stock variances and agree action plan and timeline to consume.
  • To ensure that PO’s are scheduled/booked as per our required delivery dates.
  • To manage the Return to supplier stock, within the agreed timeframe.
  • Investigate material deviations and take corrective actions where necessary
    • Essential/Desirable
  • Experience from a materials management background within a fast-paced environment
  • Good numeral and analytical skills alongside the ability to communicate with all areas of the business and inform internal stakeholders of report findings
  • Fantastic experience of Excel is required, to assist in developing key reporting
  • Excellent knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
