What youll be doingThis is a newly created role working as part of our wider Sales & Marketing team as our person on the ground and is the only role of this nature across our portfolio. It makes it a really exciting opportunity for someone to join us, to help shape therole and ultimately drive sales.Despite the pandemic, were fortunate to have delivered exceptional revenues in the last few years and as the Devon leisure market stabilises and travel abroad increasesnow is a great time to refocus and look at new ways to drive the business forward.This is a truly special role, taking the very best of the traditional sales and marketing roles. Your focus will be on proactive local networking and relationship building, as well as developing and driving a marketing strategy which reflects the diverseoffering of the hotel and its activitiesfocusing on both local and national market presence to ultimately drive sales.You will need to be highly collaborative, passionate to learn and able to inject new ideas to create and launch multi touch point campaigns that spark interest. Ultimately the purpose of the role is to drive pipeline acceleration through the creation ofrelevant and interesting content and beautifully executed marketing programmes.This is not the role for someone who is desk happy or who thrives on hard sales targets but instead someone who will get amongst the hotel teamtalking to them and finding interesting stories to bring to life. The role is an approx. split of 25% salesfocus, 75% marketing.What youll need
