You’ll have to be reliable and dependable, passionate and committed to delivering high quality health care in an out-of-hours(OOH) environment.If you have advanced Physical assessment (level 6 or above) minor illness course (level 6 or above), palliative care/ end of life care experience and would like to join our professional team as an Urgent Care Practitioner (UCP), then we would love to hearfrom you. As we provide an OOH service, you must be willing to work evenings and weekends.You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with minor illness and other urgent presentations face-to-face within our out of hours services. You don’t need to be a prescriber as you’ll be able to work from a range of agreed PGDs. You willusually be based at one of our out of hours locations within Norfolk and Waveney in order to make home visits to patients in an effective timely manner.This role is particularly suited to an experienced autonomous Clinician that has undertaken core modules of advanced practice within the Specialist Paramedic, Nurse/Paramedic Practitioner program or an experienced Nurse/Paramedic who has additional trainingin assessing minor illness and physical assessment. IC24 provides services to over 6 million patients, including GP led out-of-hours services, NHS 111, primary care and secondary care support services.IC24 operate the OOH urgent care service throughout Norfolk and Waveney between 18:30 - 08:00 on weekdays and 24/7 over the weekends and Bank Holiday periods.Locations Across Norfolk and Waveney: we have face-to-face base locations in Norwich, North Walsham, Dereham, Thetford, King’s Lynn, Fakenham, Great Yarmouth, Beccles, and LowestoftHours Available Flexible shifts, including evenings, overnights and weekends, minimum 12 hrs per week. Bank hours also availableShifts Available Tuesday to Friday 18:30 - 06:30 and 08:00 - 22:00 on weekendsWhat’s in it for you
