Job Title: Technical ManagerSalary: £55,000 - £65,000Location: NorfolkReference: HB7756Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Technical Manager to join their business.This role is an excellent opportunity for a Food professional looking for their role upwards to join a well-respected food manufacturing company that supplies premium products to a number of retailers.Following a restructure, this is a brand new role and the responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Drive site quality and GMP compliance metrics, setting and monitoring KPIs.* Provide a clear view of consumer complaint performance and various quality-led KPIs.* Present KPIs to all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment across the group.* Lead and inspire the site Quality teams, fostering talent through a personnel development plan.* Be the driving force behind the sites succession plan and personnel performance.* Foster strong customer relationships, acting as the day-to-day contact for all retailers.* Support factory teams through customer visits and maintain customer-specific KPIs.* React promptly to factory incidents, ensuring appropriate resourcing and support.* Lead incident responses to ensure safe and timely resolutions.* Oversee incident investigations and preventative actions to avoid reoccurrence.* Excel at customer audits, working closely with the Factory Manager and Quality Systems Manager.* Collaborate with factory teams to deliver sustainable solutions for compliance issues.* Take ownership of the sites Technical Budget and ensure compliance.* Work collaboratively with central teams to ensure alignment across all sites.
